Cipher 1:

Dorothy Cade was so excited to attend her first murder mystery party with Adam. She couldn’t remember how long she’d been bugging him to attend one—this was going to be the best anniversary ever! Detective Dorothy Cade (DDC); it had quite a ring to it!

They arrived at the abandoned hospital right on time—the introductions were just starting. One player would be secretly selected as the victim, and it was up to the others to find the body, find the murder weapon and name the killer. Dorothy couldn’t help thinking this was like Clue on steroids.

The hospital was huge, and Adam and Dorothy decided to split up to cover more ground; so when Dorothy was the first to discover “the body” in room 364.1523 she just couldn’t contain herself. The crime scene looked so real, so real in fact that she became a little dewy-eyed—as the victim was none other than Adam! Dorothy couldn’t believe what an amazing actor he was.

“This is so cool” she thought as she composed herself and started analyzing the scene.

Adam was lying motionless in a pool of blood with a knife nearby. There were no signs of a struggle. On closer inspection of the body she noted his once lively skin seemed dull grey and bloodless—his eyes open and staring.  She took a step back and gasped! Was she looking at the official classification of a real murder?

Can you deduce if Adam is acting or has been truly slain?

Cipher 2:

George and Elizabeth have been married for 16 years. There are no secrets between them. They built their marriage on honesty and openness—something they both take pride in. But something isn’t right!

Elizabeth has been acting rather strangely as of late. She was never one for the current fashions or makeup, but lately her trips to the mall have been more frequent and she has been more adventurous in her makeup choices.

The strangest thing George has noticed is that she has also been frequenting the library on a regular basis, although she never seems to be reading a book.  He is torn, he trusts his wife implicitly but something is bothering him—something is just not sitting right.

When Elizabeth, looking as beautiful as ever, announces she is popping over to the library, George decides to follow her.

At the library, Elizabeth approaches the desk, where the librarian gives her a slip of paper. Elizabeth heads to the stacks. After consulting a book for a few minutes, she puts it back on the shelf and heads for the door.

Intrigued, George retraces Elizabeth’s footsteps and pulls the book from the shelf. As he opens it to page 304 and a piece of paper floats to the floor. He bends down and picks it up. How strange, the paper contains just numbers.

21/8 11/6  7/10 11/11 13/5 - 25/10 5/2!

What could it mean and who has Elizabeth been spending time with?

Cipher 4:

Five Suspects were pulled in for the murder lineup at precinct 64. All Five looked like your average Joe but Detective ZaXe knew better. Even the Most normal looking guy could be a mass murderer. Look at Ted Bundy! ZaXe knew one of theM was hiding something dark and Gruesome, but who and what?

The five men stood nervously in the lineup, Greg at 5ft 6’ was the shortest suspect, Bob stood at 6ft, as did George. Zaxe logged Malcolm and James at 5ft 11’ . Zaxe had so little to go on, he only knew the Killer stood between 5ft 5’ and 6ft 1’.  Exasperated, he knew the clues were here somewhere!

Cipher 5:

Detective Mosher Butts, stared at the victim. Who could have done such a thing? The victim was sitting with their head resting on the table. On the table was a board game. The word OXYPHENBUTAZONE were arranged around the victims half severed head and inside his mouth was a small piece of paper with  1778 TWS

What were they playing?

Cipher 6:
